35-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Bicycle Accident near Wilmington Avenue
CARSON, CA (October 17, 2023) – A bicycle accident on 405 Freeway early Sunday morning took the life of Solis Anthony.
The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m, on the southbound lanes of the freeway near the Wilmington Avenue off-ramp.
Per reports, the rider of a southbound bicycle moved into the slow lane from the right shoulder. There, the driver of a 2014 Volvo struck the cyclist.
The Volvo driver failed to stop on time and knocked down the male bicyclist into the traffic lanes. First responders arrived and declared 35-year-old Anthony dead at the scene.
Following preliminary duties, police do not suspect alcohol and drugs as potential factors in the collision.
