29-Year-Old Fresno Man Dies in SUV Collision near Weldon Avenue 

FRESNO, CA (October 12, 2023) – Monday evening, Jesus Moreno was fatally struck in a motorcycle accident on Chesnut Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m., near Weldon Avenue.  

According to investigators, the driver of a southbound silver Toyota SUV made a left turn directly into the path of a northbound motorcycle.

Upon impact, the rider was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries. The Fresno Police Department declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene. 

Police later identified the deceased rider as 29-year-old Jesus Moreno of Fresno.

At this time, an active investigation is still currently underway. Fresno Officials will provide more information once available.
