Two Women Injured in Pedestrian Collision near Tonopah Avenue in Bay Park
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 11, 2023) – Saturday evening, two elderly women were hurt in a pedestrian crash on Knoxville Street in San Diego.
The collision happened around 6:55 p.m., at the 17000 block of Knoxville Street in the neighborhood of Bay Park.
Per reports, the 79-year-old female driver of a southbound 2013 Toyota Venza struck two pedestrians.
Eventually, emergency personnel arrived and transported one of the pedestrians to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The other victim complained about pain.
Authorities only described the victims as females, ages 64 and 67 years old. Police do not suspect drugs and alcohol to be a factor in the collision.
