The crash happened around 10:30 p.m., on September 22nd near the 3600 block of Hogan Lane.
According to reports, the driver of a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu was speeding and lost control before striking the center median. The Chevy then hit a 2018 Toyota Camry in the westbound lanes, before striking an electric pole in the backyard of a residence.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the passenger from Chevrolet dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
