38-Year-Old Man Operating a Three-Wheeled Vehicle Dies after Collision on Nellis Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (October 9, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, an accident on Harris Avenue and Nellis Boulevard left one fatality.

The incident happened on September 26th shortly after 7:30 p.m. near Washington Avenue, involving a 2020 Polaris Slingshot driven by a 38-year-old man and a Honda Accord.

Upon investigation, the officers learned that the Polaris Slingshot was headed southbound on Nellis Boulevard when the driver rear-ended the Honda, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said.

Furthermore, the 38-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.

Consequently, the paramedics transported the driver of the Honda to the hospital with minor injuries only. Authorities released him after the treatment of his injuries.

Meanwhile, the authorities blocked the area while they cleared out the debris, and the LVMPD Traffic Bureau took further investigation.
