Zachary Richard Killed in Fuel-Truck Accident on Interstate 15 [Las Vegas, NV]
32-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Commercial Truck in Deadly Collision near Lake Mead Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 5, 2023) – Late Sunday morning, Zachary Richard was killed in a fuel-truck accident on Interstate 15.
First responders received dispatch calls around 11:45 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Lake Mead Boulevard on September 24th.
For reasons under investigation, Richard was standing in the far right northbound lane of the freeway. There, the driver of a passing white commercial fuel-truck struck the pedestrian.
Due to the extent of his condition, medics pronounced 32-year-old Richard dead.
Meanwhile, crews treated the fuel-truck driver who sustained minor injuries at the scene. At this time, the deadly incident remains under active investigation.
