Multi-Vehicle Collision in Fort Mohave Claims the Life of One Off-Duty Officer
BULLHEAD CITY, CA (October 6, 2023) – On Monday morning, a deadly two-vehicle accident took the life of Officer Belarmino Diaz.
Just before 6 a.m., on September 25th, police were called after reports of a head-on accident near Fort Mohave.
Upon arrival, first responders pronounced Diaz dead at the scene due to the extent of his injuries. It was reported that Diaz was off-duty at the time of the collision.
Furthermore, authorities identified the other driver as Alala Williams, whose current condition is unknown at this time.
Police shut down a portion of the roadway to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since been reopened. No further information has been released about the fatal crash.
Bullhead City police will release updates as they become available to the public. Moreover, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
