67-Year-Old Male Driver Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Collision near Mile Marker 34

MINERAL COUNTY, NV (September 28, 2023) – Tuesday night, Edward Spacek was killed in a semi-truck accident on U.S. 95.

The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m., near mile marker 34.

According to reports, the driver of a northbound 2017 Dodge Ram veered into the southbound lanes in attempt to pass a semi-truck. There, the Dodge was hit by another semi-truck.

Medics arrived and pronounced the driver of the Dodge, 67-year-old Spacek Jr. from Bullhead City, AZ dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver sustained minor injuries. Although, police have not yet released their identity.

Emergency personnel closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Once available, more details will be provided.
