ATASCADERO, CA (September 28, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, one person was killed in a pedestrian accident on El Camino Real, per initial reports.
Authorities responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m., near Highway 41, along El Camino Real.
Per reports, the driver of an unidentified vehicle struck a pedestrian just south of Vons.
Due to the impact of the collision, the unnamed pedestrian was killed. Paramedics pronounced the man dead en route to the hospital.
At this time, authorities have only described the deceased victim as a man.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
