Child Killed, Kyle Wilson Involved in Single-Vehicle Collision on FM 151 [Trenton, TX]
8-Year-Old Girl Pronounced Dead after Solo-Car Crash near Fannin County
TRENTON, TX (September 28, 2023) – Thursday night, a child was killed and Kyle Wilson was involved in a single-vehicle collision on FM 151.
Authorities responded to the scene about two miles northwest of Trenton on September 7th.
For reasons under investigation, Wilson was driving a 2017 Cadillac XTS north and veered off the road. The vehicle then struck a truck and a metal-pipe fence.
Medical personnel arrived and took Wilson and his passengers to a nearby hospital where an 8-year-old girl succumbed to her injuries. Meanwhile, a 10-year-old boy remains in critical condition in Cook Children’s Hospital.
In addition, another adult passenger and 6-year-old girl were taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area of FM 151 for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Those with further information about the solo-car crash on FM 151 should contact local authorities immediately. More information will be provided to the public once available.
