Four Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident near Shea Boulevard

PHOENIX, AZ (September 28, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, four victims sustained injuries in a pedestrian collision on Desert Cove Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 1:00 p.m., just north of Shea Boulevard on September 20th.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the driver of a southbound vehicle entered the intersection on a red light and struck three pedestrians.

Medical personnel arrived and extricated one victim who was trapped underneath the vehicle. Paramedics then transported four people to a nearby hospital, where one was listed in extremely critical condition.

Meanwhile, the injured parties were identified as two men in their 40s and 30s and a man and a women also in their 40s and 30s.
