52-Year-Old Man Dies Days Later after Being Struck by Vehicle near North Dodge Boulevard
TUCSON, AZ (September 28, 2023) – Tuesday evening, Garry Frazer was killed in a pedestrian crash on Broadway Boulevard.
The incident happened on September 29th, around 8:00 p.m., in the 3700 block of East Broadway Boulevard.
According to reports, Frazer was walking in the area when an eastbound Toyota RAV4 struck him. The impact of the collision left the pedestrian with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. Paramedics then transported Frazer to a local hospital for treatment
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Later at the hospital, on September 21st, 52-year-old Garry Frazer succumbed to his injuries and the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner pronounced him dead.
Moreover, the authorities stated that jaywalking was the major contributing factor to the incident.
In addition, the authorities have not filed any charges against the driver of the Toyota.
The Tucson Police Department is investigating the crash and reports will be released once they are finished.
