Three-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near 806 Mile Marker Leaves One Individual Dead

CHAMBERS COUNTY, TX (September 27, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, one person died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near 806 mile marker.

The accident happened on September 9th, at around 2:01 p.m. at the 806-mile marker at Interstate 10.

According to reports, a construction-style front-end loader heading eastbound on the Interstate 10 Trinity River Bridge while being trailed by another vehicle with its hazards turned on. A semi-truck driving in the same direction collided with the back of the passenger car and front-end loader as they were slowly making their way down the other side of the bridge.

Emergency crews at the site of the collision pronounced the driver of the passenger car dead due to the extent of his injuries.

Furthermore, authorities are currently conducting an active investigation into the crash. More details will be reported once they become available.
