2 Fatally Struck in Red-Light Crash on Crenshaw Road [Pasadena, TX]
Two Pronounced Dead after Speeding Car Collision near Beltway 8
PASADENA, TX (September 26, 2023) – Saturday night, two victims were fatally struck in a red-light crash on Crenshaw Road.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:00 p.m., on September 9th, at the intersection of Crenshaw Road and Beltway 8.
Per reports, the driver of a silver sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed and crashed into a truck. Upon impact, the truck turned rapidly causing a passenger in the backseat to be thrown from the vehicle.
Medics arrived and pronounced two victims dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released their identities. In addition, crews say one of the occupants was not wearing their seatbelt at the time.
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted another victim to Memorial Hermann Hospital for further treatment.
Following preliminary duties, officers located the speeding driver who attempted to flee the scene. Once available, further details will be provided.
