60-Year-Old Man Dies in Pedestrian vs. Motorcycle Collision near North Oracle Road
TUCSON, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Late Saturday evening, Wayne Aaron Kimball was fatally struck in a pedestrian accident on Fort Lowell Road.
The incident occurred around 11:50 p.m., at the 300 block of West Fort Lowell Road just east of North Oracle Road on September 16th.
Per reports, Kimball stepped onto the road from the south side when the 64-year-old rider of an eastbound motorcycle struck him. Upon impact, the rider was ejected from the motorcycle onto the road.
Responding paramedics transported both Kimball and the rider to Banner University Medical Center with serious injuries. However, medics later pronounced 60-year-old Kimball dead on Monday, September 18th.
Following preliminary duties, officers obtained a toxicology report from Kimball and determined that he had drugs in his system. In addition, police say the rider did not have a proper motorcycle license. Once available, further details will be provided.
