Sedan Collision in Jurupa Valley Kills 42-Year-Old Woman
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (September 25, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, a hit-and-run crash on Mission Boulevard claimed the life of Jamie Pruitt.
Deputies responded to the collision shortly before 3:30 p.m. at the 5000 block of Mission Boulevard.
Based on an eyewitness report, a white 2012 Toyota Corolla hit the woman. After the crash, the suspect fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Upon arrival, they located a female victim lying in the roadway. Despite life-saving attempts, paramedics pronounced 42-year-old Jamie Pruitt, of Jurupa Valley, dead at the scene.
A photo from the incident captured the suspect’s Corolla with a front passenger side hood and windshield damage.
At this time, Jurupa Valley officials are asking those with additional information regarding the hit-and-run to contact Deputy Robert Packer at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station at 951-776-1099.
