Two Hurt in Pedestrian Hit-and-run near Arcadian Avenue and Pima Street
TUCSON, AZ (September 25, 2023) – Sunday evening, a woman and a child were hurt in a pedestrian hit-and-run near Arcadia Avenue and Pima Street.
The incident occurred on September 17th, at around 6:00 p.m. Troopers from the Tucson Police Department responded to the scene that involved two pedestrians and a vehicle.
At the site of the collision, officers learned that a woman with a child was walking along the intersection when a hit-and-run vehicle struck them.
Following the crash, the driver did not stop to call the authorities. The police are asking for any witnesses to contact them.
After initial assessments, paramedics transported the woman and the child to the hospital with serious injuries.
Following the events of the incident, the authorities blocked the intersection for a couple of hours before they reopened it.
At this time, the authorities added no additional information released, and an active investigation is still underway.
