Woman Dies in DUI Crash on Rindge Lane [Redondo Beach, CA]
Driver Arrested after Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision Near Artesia Boulevard
REDONDO BEACH, CA (September 21, 2023) – Monday evening, a two-car collision involving a DUI driver on Rindge Lane left a woman dead.
The deadly collision happened shortly before 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Rindge Lane and Artesia Boulevard.
Responding officers declared a female driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver, who was believed to have caused the crash, was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.
At this time, authorities are preparing to present felony DUI charges of vehicular manslaughter to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
No further details regarding the Rindge Lane two-vehicle crash have been released to the public. The Coroner’s Office will release the deceased woman’s identity once the next of kin has been notified.
