72-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Parking Lot Collision near Washington Street
PALM DESERT, CA (September 21, 2023) – Tuesday afternoon, a 2-car accident on Hovley Lane claimed the life of Connie Ramirez.
Police responded to the crash around 2:50 p.m., near Washington Street in Palm Desert.
Per reports, the driver of an eastbound vehicle struck a woman who was attempting to turn south into a parking lot. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the female driver dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department later identified the deceased victim as 72-year-old Ramirez, of Palm Desert.
