One Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Madera Avenue
MADERA, CA (September 15, 2023) – Monday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Maple Street.
The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m., near Madera Avenue.
Per reports, the driver of a small pickup-truck struck a man that was crossing the street into oncoming traffic.
Due to the impact of the collision, medics pronounced the man described to be in his 70s dead at the scene. However, police have not yet released his identity.
Meanwhile, the pickup-truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Following preliminary duties, authorities do not suspect alcohol and drugs to be a factor in the collision.
