Man Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision on Charleston Boulevard [Las Vegas, NV]
59-Year-Old Man Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident on Hualapai Way
LAS VEGAS, NV (September 14, 2023) – Saturday evening, one man was fatally struck in a pedestrian collision on Charleston Boulevard.
The incident happened around 8:51 p.m., along Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way on August 26th.
Officers say the driver of a 2015 Toyota Highlander was heading east on Charleston Boulevard and struck a man who was attempting to cross Hualapai Way against the light.
Medics arrived and transported the 59-year-old man to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the 41-year-old male driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.
Following preliminary duties, police do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a factor. At this time, an active investigation to determine further information about the fatal pedestrian collision on Charleston Boulevard is still currently underway.
