Two Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near Gretna Avenue
EL PASO, TX (September 7, 2023) – Wednesday evening, two victims were killed and 3 were injured in a 2-vehicle accident on Horizon Boulevard.
The incident occurred at around 8:57 p.m., on Horizon Boulevard between Gretna and Ascencion Avenue.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that two vehicles were involved and two male victims suffered fatal injuries.
In addition, paramedics transported three others to a nearby hospital for further treatment of unspecified injuries.
Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Following investigations, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved.
