DUI Collision on Disc Drive Left Emilio Mendoza Dead
SPARKS, NV (August 18, 2023) – Police arrested Emilio Mendoza following a fatal DUI crash on Sparks Boulevard that claimed the life of an individual early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the crash around 3:56 a.m. along Sparks Boulevard and Disc Drive.
Per police, they discovered a car at the crosswalk and another just north of it, resting on the center median.
Police discovered a woman aboard one of the automobiles who died at the scene.
The identity of the victim will be released when the next of kin is notified.
Following preliminary duties, officers determined that Mendoza was under the influence of alcohol. As a result, police arrested Mendoza for felony charges of drunk driving causing death.
