Three Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Collision on Highway 2 [Skykomish, WA]
Lanes Blocked and Three People Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash on Money Creek Campground
SKYKOMISH, WA (August 16, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 2 left three injured, police said.
It occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m., August 5th, just east of Money Creek Campground at milepost 47, State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding said.
Furthermore, the Washington State Patrol deputies stated that multiple vehicles were involved but the total numbers were not yet released.
Also, the collision ended up injuring three people including one person with life-threatening injuries. They were all flown to Harborview Medical Center.
Consequently, the deputies blocked all lanes of the highway between Grotto and Skykomish for approximately three hours. However the roadway has been reopened to the public, and officials will post additional information as it becomes available.
