23-Year-Old DUI Suspect Arrested after Killing a Woman in a Collision
LAS VEGAS, NV (August 14, 2023) – Sunday evening, Jenzel Navarro was arrested following a deadly pedestrian accident.
The incident happened on July 30th, just before 10:00 p.m., near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard.
According to reports, a 2018 BMW X3, driven by 23-year-old Navarro, was traveling eastbound on Tropicana Avenue. There, he stuck a 54-year-old walking outside a crosswalk.
Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman dead. Investigators have not yet released her identity.
Meanwhile, Navarro remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
Officials determined that Navarro was under the influence during the accident. Police arrested him and charged him with DUI causing death.
