Several Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Collision near Interstate 5

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (August 7, 2023) – Friday afternoon, eleven victims sustained injuries in a two-car crash on Twin Cities Road.

The incident occurred just before 2:30 p.m., east of Interstate 5 on July 28th.

For reasons under investigation, two vehicles collided in the area. As a result, at least 11 people sustained injuries, including juveniles.

Medical personnel transported all injured occupants to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Crews say three occupants suffered major injuries.

Officers closed off the northbound lanes of Interstate 5 near Twin Cities Road during cleanup and preliminary duties.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway.
