65-Year-Old Pedestrian Hurt in Vehicle Crash in Hillcrest

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 19, 2023) – Late Sunday morning, an elderly man suffered injuries after a pedestrian crash on Park Boulevard. 

Based on the report, the collision happened around 11:38 a.m. at the west alley of 3800 Park Blvd. in the neighborhood of Hillcrest San Diego. 

Police claimed that an eastbound vehicle on University Avenue made a right turn into an alley and hit a man lying on a mattress.

Subsequently, the 48-year-old male driver dragged the victim with the vehicle for at least 30 feet before the driver noticed. 

Responding emergency personnel rushed the 65-year-old victim to a nearby hospital for various injuries. At this time, his name and state of condition are unknown.
