Five-Vehicle Collision on SR-18 Left Lanes Blocked, Several Injured
KING COUNTY, WA (July 17, 2023) – Thursday morning, lanes were blocked due to a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 18.
On July 13th, at around 7:40 a.m., the Washington State Patrol responded to the freeway involving a collision between three semi-trucks and two vehicles.
According to WSP Trooper Rick Johnson, multiple people were injured in the collision but the total number, as well as their conditions, have not yet been updated.
Furthermore, the eastbound and westbound lanes of SR-18 between Issaquah-Hobart Road and Interstate 90 were blocked for several hours.
Motorists were advised that traffic in the area will be affected during the duration of the blockage.
Consequently, the State Route was reopened by 3:00 p.m. and other no updates were released.
