Plane Accident near Briggs Road Left Six People Dead

MURRIETA, CA (July 13, 2023) – Saturday morning, Abigail Tellez-Vargas, Riese Lenders, Manuel Vargas-Regalado, Lindsey Gleiche, Alma Razick, and Ibrahem Razick died in a plane crash.

The crash happened on July 8th, just before 4:20 a.m., near the intersection of Auld Road and Briggs Road, near the French Valley Airport.

According to the authorities, a Cessna C550 business Jet was boarded by 33-year-old Tellez-Vargas, of Murrieta; 25-year-old Lenders, of Rancho Palos Verdes; 32-year-old Vargas-Regalado, of Temecula; 31-year-old Gleiche, of Huntington Beach; 51-year-old Alma Razick, of Temecula; and 46-year-old Ibrahem Razick, also of Temecula.

The pilot of the plane flying in from Las Vegas crashed into a field in Murrieta. The impact of the collision caused the plane to burst into flames.

Following the collision, emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash and attempted rescue efforts. However, all those onboard died as a result of the crash.

The events surrounding the incident are still under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration.
