Robert Hazelton Killed in Motorcycle-Vehicle Collision near 51st Avenue [Phoenix, AZ]
Traffic Collision near Thunderbird Road Left 1 Fatality
PHOENIX, AZ (July 5, 2023) – Saturday night, police responded to a deadly motorcycle accident that claimed the life of Robert Hazelton.
The fatal incident happened on July 1st at around 7:00 p.m., near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road.
According to Phoenix Police, 47-year-old Hazelton, a vehicle, and a truck were involved in the collision.
Furthermore, on the initial collision, Hazelton was headed southbound on 51st Avenue when he rear-ended a vehicle causing him to be ejected.
Consequently, a truck also headed northbound on 51st Avenue struck Hazelton who was downed on the highway.
Eventually, the paramedics arrived at the scene and transported Hazelton to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Meanwhile, both the drivers of the vehicle and the truck remained at the scene, and impairment was not suspected.
No other information was added at this time and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
