53-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Highland Drive

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 5, 2023) – Tuesday evening, one rider was killed in a motorcycle collision on Desert Inn Road.

Authorities responded to the scene just before 6:30 p.m., near Highland Drive on June 27th.

Per reports, the rider of a blue 2007 Suzuki GSX-R750 was seen speeding at the intersection. The rider then struck a concrete barrier and was ejected from the motorcycle onto a nearby rock landscape.

Medics arrived and pronounced the 53-year-old rider, of Las Vegas dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released their identity.

Investigation showed that the rider was suspected to have been racing a black Dodge Charger or Challenger. Once available, further details will be provided.
