Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on East Sahara Avenue [Las Vegas, NV]
Male Pedestrian Pronounced Dead after Fatal Collision near State Street
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 5, 2023) – Thursday night, one man was fatally injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on East Sahara Avenue.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., near State Street on June 22nd.
Per reports, the driver of a black 2013 BMW 328i was traveling at high rates of speed and collided with a Mercury Stable. Upon impact, the BMW spun out before eventually striking a man in his 30s who was standing in the bus lane.
The driver of the BMW then exited his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. At this time, the suspect still remains at large.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released his identity.
At this time, the crash is still under investigation and any witnesses are urged to contact authorities. Once available, further details will be provided about the fatal pedestrian crash on East Sahara Avenue.
