Woman Dead Following Hit-and-Run on Sierra Highway [Lancaster, CA]
SUV Driver Wanted after Fatal Pedestrian Crash at Lancaster Boulevard
LANCASTER, CA (July 10, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a hit-and-run crash on Sierra Highway claimed the life of a woman.
The fatal collision happened on June 9th, at around 2:25 a.m. on Sierra Highway at Lancaster Boulevard.
Investigators claimed that a vehicle hit the female pedestrian in the intersection, leaving her with major injuries. However, the driver did not render aid to the victim and fled the scene.
Tragically, the first responders declared the woman dead at the scene. Although, her identity was not disclosed to the public, pending notification from the next of kin.
At this time, the sheriff’s officials are leading the investigation. Additionally, witnesses at the scene determined the suspect’s vehicle to be a brown Chevrolet Tahoe.
