Officer and One Other Hurt in Two-Vehicle Collision near El Mirage Road

GLENDALE, AZ (July 11, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, two drivers were hurt in a 2-car accident on Glendale Avenue.

Police responded to the scene around 2:40 a.m., near El Mirage Road on June 7th.

At this time, the events leading up to the collision involving an on-duty MCSO deputy and another vehicle remain unclear. However, reports indicate that speed and impairment may have been a factor.

Medics say both drivers sustained minor injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identities.
