Multi-Vehicle Crash near Muirfield Road Sent 1 to Hospital
MID-WILSHIRE, CA (July 5, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, at least five people sustained injuries after a three-car rollover collision on Wilshire Boulevard.
The crash occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of Wilshire Boulevard near Muirfield Road.
CHP responded after receiving a report of multiple vehicles involved in a collision, but the events surrounding the crash remain unknown.
Firefighters arrived and extricated one person trapped in the wreck and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. While the other four with minor injuries refused hospitalization.
At this time, officials have not released the names of all parties involved. Furthermore, the crash blocked Muirfield Road for several hours to allow for cleanup and preliminary operations.
The CHP continues to investigate the multi-vehicle collision on Wilshire Boulevard and will release additional information once available. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
