65-Year-Old Woman Pronounced Dead after Pedestrian Accident near Citrus Grove Lane
OXNARD, CA (July 10, 2023) – Late Thursday evening, one woman was fatally struck in a pedestrian crash on Oxnard Boulevard.
Authorities responded to the scene around 10:37 p.m., near Citrus Grove Lane.
Officers say the driver of a 2003 Ford Expedition was heading south on Oxnard and struck a pedestrian in a commercial area north of Gonzales Road.
Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced the 65-year-old female pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, police have not yet released her identity.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old male driver from Oxnard stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Those who witnessed the incident are encouraged to contact the Oxnard Officials as soon as possible.
