Male Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Baseline Road
PHOENIX, AZ (May 15, 2023) – Wednesday evening, one man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 51st Avenue.
The incident occurred on May 3rd, at around 8:00 p.m., near Baseline Road.
According to reports, the driver of a truck hit a man that was walking outside of a marked crosswalk.
Medical personnel arrived and transported the man to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity.
Meanwhile, the truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Emergency crews blocked the east and westbound lanes of Baseline Road during cleanup and preliminary duties.
