Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-and-Run Crash in Vermont Vista Neighborhood
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 28, 2023) – Sunday night, a hit-and-run crash on Vermont Avenue left one pedestrian killed.
The incident happened on April 9th at around 9:30 p.m. in the Vermont Vista neighborhood.
Investigation showed that a pedestrian was struck by a white sedan as he was walking in the area. The collision caused the pedestrian to sustain serious injuries. The involved driver did not stop to help the victim and instead fled the scene.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and pronounced the pedestrian, identified only as a man in his 50s, dead at the scene.
Following the crash, there was no available information about the suspect or the vehicle.
