Bicycle Versus Car Crash Near Filoli Garden Left 37-Year-Old Filipino Man Dead
REDWOOD, CA (April 12, 2023) – Monday evening, a bicycle collision on Cañada Road claimed the life of a man from South San Francisco.
The incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. on Cañada Road, near Filoli Garden.
According to reports, an Acura sedan traveling northbound struck a bicyclist riding in the same direction. The collision left the bicyclist, a 37-year-old Filipino man, with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived the at site of the crash shortly after. There, medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities identified him as a man from South San Francisco.
Following the crash, medics transported the 22-year-old male driver of the Acura and his 21-year-old passenger to a local hospital.
