One Pronounced Dead after Multi-Vehicle Accident on 105 Freeway [Hawthorne, CA]
Three-Vehicle Collision near Crenshaw Boulevard Resulted in Fatality
HAWTHORNE, CA (March 27, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a person sustained fatal injuries following a multi-vehicle accident on 105 Freeway.
The fatality happened around 5:30 a.m. along westbound Glenn Anderson Freeway, near the Crenshaw Boulevard off-ramp.
At this time, the circumstances that led up to the crash remain unclear.
Unfortunately, one of the people involved was pronounced dead at the scene. Their body was discovered in one of the traffic lanes, however, their person has not been identified.
In the end, Hawthorne Officials shut down several lanes of the westbound 105 Freeway to conduct an investigation and preform cleanup duties, but has since been reopened.
No further details regarding the 105 Freeway multi-vehicle accident have been released to the public. The California Highway Patrol will provide more information once available.
