13-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized in Traffic Accident on Deer Valley Road
PEORIA, AZ (March 30, 2023) – Thursday morning, a pedestrian crash on 99th Avenue left one teenager with serious injuries, police said.
The deadly accident happened on March 9th at around 7:00 a.m., when a 13-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle.
Investigation showed that the boy is an 8th grader student at Sunset Heights Elementary.
Furthermore, authorities transported the injured boy to a nearby hospital.
Consequently, the officers stated that the driver involved showed no signs of being impaired.
Meanwhile, the intersection was blocked during the length of the investigation and was later reopened by 12:00 p.m.
