33-Year-Old Man Hospitalized after Pedestrian-Auto Collision in Kensington

SAN DIEGO, CA (April 6, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a 33-year-old man was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash on Aldine Drive.

The collision happened on March 8th, at around 6:15 a.m. north of Fairmont Avenue in the neighborhood of Kensington. 

According to reports, a 2008 Nissan Altima hit a pedestrian attempting to cross the street from Aldine Drive to northbound Fairmont. 

Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after and transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. 

It was unclear whether the involved driver stayed and cooperated with the authorities. 

At this time, the San Diego Police Department Traffic Unit continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the pedestrian crash.
