30-Year-Old Man Fatally Injured in Car vs Scooter Crash near Riverside Drive
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 13, 2023) – Early Wednesday morning, Andrew Belcher lost his life in a scooter accident at Vineland Avenue.
Police responded to the scene around 12:50 a.m., near Riverside Drive on February 22nd.
According to reports, Belcher was heading south in a bike lane when the driver of a southbound vehicle struck him.
Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced 30-year-old Belcher dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with the investigation. At this time, LAPD continue to investigate the cause of the fatal accident and will release additional information once it becomes available.
