Three Killed in Head-On Collision on Hills Valley Road [Orange Cove, CA]
Three Dead, Three Injured after Two-Vehicle Accident on Manning Avenue
ORANGE COVE, CA (March 2, 2023) – Thursday afternoon, three victims died and three were injured in a head-on collision on Hills Valley Road.
The incident happened on February 16th, at around 2:00 p.m., near the intersection fo Hills Valley Road and Manning Avenue.
According to reports, the driver of a northbound Honda minivan collided head-on with a southbound red Dodge pickup-truck that was making an unsafe turn.
Medics arrived and pronounced the Dodge driver and the driver and front passenger of the Honda dead at the scene. In addition, three other occupants sustained injuries.
Crews airlifted one victim to Community Regional Medical Center. Meanwhile, paramedics transported the other two victims to the same hospital by ambulance.
Following preliminary duties, officers determined that the Dodge was driven by a 68-year-old man. Once available, further details will be provided.
