Woman Struck and Killed by Vehicle near Palm Avenue
FRESNO, CA (March 2, 2023) – Early Friday morning, a pedestrian crash on Belmont Avenue near Palm Avenue left a woman dead.
The incident happened on February 17th, at around 6:00 a.m. near Palm Avenue and Belmont Avenue.
According to reports, a vehicle hit the woman pushing a shopping cart for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision left the woman with serious injuries.
Responding emergency personnel arrived shortly after and discovered the victim lying on the roadway. Medics transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. At the hospital, officials pronounced her dead due to the extent of her condition. At this time, her identity has not been disclosed to the public.
