Three Women Hospitalized after Suspected DUI Accident on Lake Boulevard [Redding, CA]
Rollover Collision near Magnus Way Resulted in Multiple Injuries
REDDING, CA (February 20, 2023) – Monday night, a suspected DUI accident on Lake Boulevard left at least three women trapped in the vehicles.
Authorities responded to the incident around 11:49 p.m. near Magnus Way by the Oakwood Mobile Home Park in Redding.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a driver and two other passengers on a flipped white Honda sedan.
According to the police, a woman driving the Honda struck an unoccupied vehicle, causing her vehicle to roll over multiple times. Eventually, the sedan come to stop after landing on its side.
Responding firefighters at the scene transported the three patients to a nearby hospital for further treatment of moderate injuries.
At this time, Redding Officials are working to determine the cause of the crash. However, Sgt Calhoun claimed that the incident was likely caused by DUI.
Blood test results from the Lake Boulevard crash are currently pending.
