David Brown Arrested Following Head-On Collision near Monroe Avenue
RED BLUFF, CA (November 16, 2023) – Sunday night, a DUI collision along Highway 36 left Tracy Battaglia and a teen injured.
The collision happened on February 12th, at around 7:30 p.m., near the 21000 block of Highway 36.
According to reports, David Brown was driving eastbound in a 2010 Toyota Corolla when he crashed head-on into a westbound 2017 Audi Q3. The impact of the collision left the driver of the Audi, Battaglia, the driver of the Corolla, Brown, and his 14-year-old passenger with injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash shortly afterward. Medics transported all the patients to a local hospital for treatment.
Following the collision, police arrested Brown for suspected DUI resulting in bodily injury and child endangerment. Brown was booked into Tehama County Jail after being medically cleared.
