CHANDLER, AZ (February 15, 2023) – Saturday night, a semi-truck crash on Interstate 10 claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
The incident happened on February 11th, at around 8:20 p.m., in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10.
At this time, the events leading up to the collision remain unclear. However, reports indicate that a motorcycle and a car hauler tractor-trailer collided in the area by the Loop 202 interchange.
Emergency personnel arrived at the site of the collision shortly after. After initial assessments, medics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, crews closed down several lanes of Interstate 10 at Ray Road to investigate the semi-truck crash. This caused traffic to build up for several hours.
