Five Reportedly Injured in Hit-and-Run on Pacific Coast Highway [Seal Beach, CA]
Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted in Crash near Main Street
SEAL BEACH, CA (January 14, 2023) – Saturday morning, a hit-and-run collision on Pacific Coast Highway left at least five people injured.
Officers responded to the incident around 7:15 p.m. at an intersection near Main Street in Seal Beach.
Upon arrival, police determined that a Mercedes 300D Class collided with the side of another vehicle occupied by five people.
Afterward, the Mercedes driver exited the car and fled the scene on foot through a residential neighborhood.
Responding emergency personnel rushed all of the occupants inside the other vehicle – two unidentified women and three teenage girls – to the hospital for serious injuries.
At this time, authorities are looking for the hit-and-run suspect, identified as an 18 to 20-year-old male.
Seal Beach Officials closed all lanes of Pacific Coast Highway at Main Street to conduct an investigation.
