Traffic Accident on Valle Verde Drive Involving School Bus Injured Two Individuals

HENDERSON, NV (February 14, 2023) – At least two people sustained injuries Friday afternoon after a school bus accident on North Valle Verde Drive.

The accident happened at 1:45 p.m., near West Warm Springs Road and North Valle Verde Drive.

According to the Nevada Police, the events leading up to the collision are still unknown; however, no students were aboard the bus at the time of the crash.

Emergency crews located two people with unspecified injuries. Officials added that the seriousness of those injured was not readily known at this time.

Authorities did not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision. An investigation is now underway.

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties but has since been reopened.
